Long Beach Ride for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of South Niagara -  June 19, 2016

We are excited to announce the 2nd Annual Long Beach Ride, which will take place on Sunday, June 19th, 2016 in the Wainfleet-Port Colborne Area. This year the Long Beach Ride Committee is partnering with Niagara Sustainability Initiative (NSI) in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Niagara (BBBSSN). Enjoy this upcoming Father’s Day with a fun road ride and activities for the whole family. The Long Beach Ride not only supports a great cause, but gives families the opportunity to take part in an active, environmentally-friendly, and fun summer activity.

Big Brothers Big Sisters facilitates life-changing relationships that inspire and empower children and youth to reach their full potential. The Niagara Sustainability Initiative encourages economic and environmental sustainability amongst the Niagara business community. This annual fundraising event will help these organizations continue to serve our community. 

Thanks the generous donations from our local businesses and organizations, proceeds from the registration will go to Big Brothers, Big Sisters of South Niagara. Optional additional fundraising is available for both NSI & BBBSSN.  

Choose your distance! 100 km, 50 km or a more casual 25 km road ride.

Cost is $110 to register, and you can bring a friend for free! Those registering will receive a $100 tax receipt. 

Barbeque and festivities to follow the ride. Registration opens at 8 a.m. 100km ride leaves from the Wainfleet Lions Club at 9 a.m. with other rides leaving shortly after that. Everyone meets back at the Lions Club around noon.
